Moving to Sarnia?
It's an area that's often referred to as one of Ontario's best kept secrets.
But for those who've come to experience Sarnia & Point Edward, the secret's
out, it's time to share all this area has to offer.
Sarnia is also one of Ontario's principal gateways to the United States and
is located across the St. Clair River from the state of Michigan, just an hour
northeast of Detroit. Our modern rail tunnel and twin Bluewater Bridges form
an important transportation system for one of the busiest commercial border
crossings in the world. Sarnia's proximity to the United States provides an
international flavour to our city and provides our visitors with the unique
opportunity to enjoy the amenities of both countries.
While the "blue waters"
of Lake Huron and the picturesque St. Clair River bring boaters
far and wide, there's also numerous boat cruises to enjoy. There's
even more to see and do in Sarnia & Point Edward, including
two of Ontario's most modern gaming attractions, the Point Edward
Charity Casino and, just a short drive down the road, the companion
Hiawatha Racetrack Slots. If you're looking to shout "Bingo!"
there's sure to be a game to fill that yearning. You'll also find
lots in between, including Sarnia lambton's premier shopping centre,
Lambton Mall, with more than 100 stores. A growing downtown area
features specialty shops and great dining experiences.
Catch one of a growing number of theatrical productions, many of
which are hosted at the wonderfully restored downtown Imperial Oil
Centre for the Performing Arts. Take in a concert or sporting event
at one of southwestern Ontario's premier facilitites--the Sarnia
Sports & Entertainment Centre. Sarnia & Point Edward have
also gained a well-deserved reputation for hosting many great events,
such as Bayfest, Snowfest, the Sarnia Supreme Highland Games and
the Mackinac Race, just to name a few.
Sarnia is a vibrant and healthy city, experiencing unprecedented growth in the
commercial and sports and leisure sectors. In addition, extensive development
of new residential subdivisions, new business parks and major improvements to
our busy highway corridors are in the planning stages for short term implementation.
Sarnia is a city that is proud of
its past, happy with its present and excitedly anticipating and
planning for our future. I
look forward to acting as not only your hostess but to meet any
of your real estate needs. If there is anything further you need
or a request, please email me at lynnebrady@royalkey.ca
